If you're forced to use IMAP like me, then you will love the feature. It doesn't backup your mail on your computer, but instead it downloads the new mail to inbox - just like POP3. This email client has best IMAP handling i've seen so far. It doesn't offer separate folders for each account, but for me that's a plus, because I have quite a number of mailboxes and hate jumping from folder to folder. Simple Mail is a lightweight plugin for Firefox with no categories and separate inboxes, that supports POP3 and IMAP, no tifies on new message and is simple - just what I have been looking for!
